About me
I can assist you with issues such as: Anxiety-Disorders (Generalised Anxiety, excessive worry, Social Anxiety, Phobias) Stress & Stress Management, Low Mood, Grief & Loss, Trauma, Self-esteem, Body Image, Disordered Eating, recovery from Narcissistic Abuse, Co-Dependency, Self-Harm, Interpersonal Relationships, Assertiveness and establishing healthy boundaries, Managing your Relationship with Alcohol (“Grey Area drinking", alcohol moderation and sobriety), managing emotions and emotional dysregulation/overwhelm, Improving social skills, sleep problems, menopause related issues.
I offer an integrative approach to therapy including: Person-Centred Counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (working on changing problematic thinking patterns and behaviours), Coaching/Goal Setting & Personal Development, Trauma based Rewind Therapy (to help you process and move forward from past trauma's), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (which works well to help you manage your overwhelming emotions and to improve your interactions with other people). I work from my office in Uphill Lincoln, as well as over Zoom, WhatsApp and telephone. I offer therapy for teenagers (I am DBS checked at advanced level) and adults of any age and all genders (LGBTQ+) and I also have experience of Neurodiversity (ADHD and ASD). The frequency and number of therapy sessions is completely flexible and this can be reviewed at any time.
I am also a qualified Clinical Supervisor and can provide evidence of my qualification for training providers and employers. Having been involved in training student counsellors on Level 4 Diploma and CBT courses, I am happy to provide supervision for trainee’s and newly qualified counsellors, as well as those more experienced. Group supervision as well as one-to-one supervision is also an option.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

I run a private practice offering face-to-face sessions located in uphill Lincoln, with free parking and a lift. I also conduct online (over Zoom) and telephone sessions to clients all over the UK. Flexibility in terms of the duration and frequency of counselling sessions is offered.
