About us
I started Past 2 Present Counselling & Psychotherapy after witnessing the powerful effect that person centred therapy can have on an individual and how life can change for the better and by exploring the past and present in safe surroundings with a person you trust, you can begin to understand what happened to you and how that impacts your present, your personality and your potential which are vital to your personal growth and inner peace.
As a practitioner I have a special interest in trauma and the emotional impact narcissistic behaviour can have on children and adults. This behaviour could have been from a family member, partner or work relationship.
Based in beautiful Cornwall, I offer face-to-face or remote counselling that fits into your busy schedule.
I provide counselling for Individuals and Businesses
Individual counselling provides a confidential and supportive setting where you can explore personal challenges and foster significant growth. Each session addresses your unique needs, helping you better understand your emotions, thoughts, and behaviours.
I offer integrated personalised approaches which allow for profound insights and meaningful change across a wide spectrum of psychological issues, from managing daily stressors to addressing deep-seated emotional conditions.
Transform your life with expert, personalised therapy that respects and understands your unique journey; offers you confidentiality, a safe space to explore, understand and overcome life's challenges.
Corporate In-company Counselling Residencies face-to-face or online - EAP Employee Assisted Programs
This part of the organisation looks at reducing workplace stress, preventing burnout, promoting a more relaxed work atmosphere.
Enhancing the overall mental health of employees, leading to job satisfaction, lower turnover and sickness.
Addressing personal and professional challenges through counselling helps employees to stay focused and perform to their best.
Early intervention and ongoing support can reduce the incidence of work-related stress and mental health issues that often lead to absenteeism and in some cases employment tribunals. I offer counselling packages to organisations in conjunction with occupational therapy, human resources and departmental Managers. I have experience of dealing with the complexities of Employment Law and have sat on several Employment Tribunal cases.

Member organisations *
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
