About me
I am a fully qualified integrative therapist with an MSc in Addiction Psychology and Counselling. I think it is hard for individuals to understand the power and confusion created from a difficult relationship with addictive substances or behaviours, this can be even more challenging for the loved ones of a soul captivated by addiction.
I have considerable experience in the field of addiction and the many other challenges that underlie addiction such as developmental trauma, depression, anxiety and BPD. I feel it is a privilege to support anyone who has the courage to face these issues in their life. I think it is important for clients to be given a good understanding of recovery, as well as knowledge of how their condition developed. I am happy to discuss the process of what this journey will look like.
I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling Professionals (MBACP).
Training, qualifications & experience
I have an MSc in Addiction Psychology and Counselling from London South Bank University. I trained at the Priory Hospital North London before joining the Addiction Treatment Programme as a qualified therapist. I have had six years’ experience working both with addiction and the underlying causes such as anxiety, depression, personality disorders and developmental trauma. In addition, I see a range of clients in my private practice in the general psychiatry field.
I remain committed to my education and have spent the past two years undertaking a BACP accredited Diploma in Counselling at the Gestalt Centre, which involves intensive professional practice and training alongside theoretical education (completion summer 2023).

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
