About me
Hello and welcome to my profile..
...How are you feeling?
Is there something on your mind that you want to explore, share or think about in a safe and accommodating space?
Counselling can assist you in many ways, and by offering a non-judgemental, safe and therapeutic space I would look to hold and share whatever you choose to bring to a session.
Taking the first steps to seek counselling can be scary and uncertain and very daunting and I want to share that I take care and time to understand what has made you look to counselling and discuss and explore a way of work that will support you in a confidential and safe space, in your own time.
Should you wish to explore therapy and want to get in touch I recognise that contacting a counsellor may feel unnerving and you may have uncertainty about what will happen and how it will work, so I offer a free initial telephone or online session to “Break the ice” and see if I am the right Counsellor for you.
About me:- I am a very down to earth person and like to work in a way that is open, with clear language and no jargon and full attention to your needs.
It is my absolute goal to ensure that you are heard and listened to, not judged or criticised. I will aim to empower you to discover and explore ideas with solutions in a place that feels right to work in, surrounded by sensitivity, honesty and respect.
I work in Person Centred, Humanistic way that is based on exploring whatever problem you have brought, rather than offer advice, and throughout the process there may be times which may feel upsetting or uncertain and I will work with you to support you through.
I am a registered member of the BACP and work with and abide to their Ethical Framework.
I am passionate about working with people from all walks of life. I welcome all to my sessions and have a particular passion and advocate support for Mens Mental Health supporting diversity for those who may wish to explore themselves deeper and further.
I offer both short and long term sessions for clients and will look to regularly reflect and check in with you on our journey together.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
