About me
You might be coming to therapy because something doesn’t feel quite right—perhaps anxiety, low mood, difficulties in relationships, or a sense of being stuck or disconnected from yourself. Sometimes the difficulty is clear; other times it’s more of a vague feeling that something is “off,” or that life isn’t flowing in the way it used to.
I offer a space where you can slow down and explore what’s going on. Together, we pay attention to both thoughts and feelings, and to the patterns—often outside of awareness—that can shape how you experience yourself and others.
My way of working is thoughtful, collaborative, and responsive to you. I draw on different approaches depending on what feels most helpful, including an understanding of how past relationships may still be influencing the present, as well as a focus on your current experience and the challenges of being human.
For those who feel drawn to it, I also welcome conversations about meaning, purpose, or a spiritual dimension to experience.
Alongside talking therapy, I am an accredited EMDR practitioner. EMDR can be particularly helpful if you’ve experienced trauma—whether that’s a single significant event or the cumulative impact of earlier life experiences—and can support you in processing what feels stuck or unresolved.
Starting therapy can feel like an unknown step. If you’re wondering whether this might be right for you, you’re very welcome to get in touch for an initial conversation.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
