About me

Hi I am Sue and I offer a professional , confidential and caring counselling service to individuals and organisations.

I am based in Derwentside and have a therapy room in Consett Innovation Centre however I also offer online therapy sessions via Zoom, Skype or Teams. I am a professionally accredited member of the National Counselling Society and work within their ethical guidelines. My therapy suite provides a  welcoming and safe environment where you can find the help and support you need. The service covers a wide range of issues and whatever your issue or difficulty you can get help and support from a qualified professional.

What to expect in the therapy sessions

The sessions are about an hour and are very relaxed. At the first session I will guide you through some brief assessment questions and some background information. This first session is an opportunity for you to set the scene and together we can agree on some priority areas and some goals for therapy. As a qualified psychotherapist and counsellor I believe that I am there to stand beside you to help and support you through difficult and challenging times. Taking the first step is tough but you will be glad you did. Come and talk
