About me
My name is Nisa and I am a UKCP accredited and BACP registered psychotherapist and EMDR trainee working with adult individuals online and face to face.
People start therapy for many different reasons. You may feel dissatisfied or distressed, want to explore the past, process difficult life events, achieve new goals or just learn more about yourself. Psychotherapy can be a life-changing experience.
To facilitate self-awareness, I place particular attention in developing a trusting, safe and collaborative relationship. In this supportive environment, we will work as a team to develop a shared understanding of your difficulties and identify how these difficulties affect your thoughts, beliefs, behaviours, feelings and daily functioning.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a UKCP accredited psychotherapist and BACP registered psychotherapist. I have an MSC in Integrative Psychotherapy and BSc in Psychology. I will be an EMDR trainee July and taking on clients for EMDR therapy at a reduced fee while in training.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

I offer weekly long term and short term Integrative and Relational therapy to individuals (18+) in a cabin office located amongst peaceful views of the countryside in Tardebigge.
I have a leaning to Relational Therapy, based on the concept that human suffering, on the most part, comes down to wounds inflicted in relationships throughout our lives. The blueprint of how you relate to others throughout your life, how it has helped or hindered you, is a great tool to help you understand how you have come to be, how it relates to your current issues and to identify any changes you would like to make going forwards.
The client-therapist relationship that we build gives us great insight into understanding this, therefore building an open and honest culture that is mutual and respectful, safe and supportive, will be an essential element of our sessions. If there are unhelpful patterns of relating, I am keen to use our interactions as a safe way of confronting them in a tolerable way, with the commitment to safely try something different to break these patterns, as we explore the issues you bring to therapy.
