About me
I'm Nikki, a qualified psychodynamic counsellor, breathwork practitioner, and life coach based in Sutton, Surrey. I offer a calm and supportive space where you can openly explore whatever is on your mind.
Life can feel overwhelming at times, leaving you stuck, anxious, or disconnected from yourself. Seeking therapy is a courageous step, and my role is to provide a safe, supportive space where you no longer have to carry your struggles alone.
As a psychodynamic counsellor with lived experience, I combine professional training with a genuine, personal understanding of how painful and confusing life can be. Clients often share that they feel a sense of relief working with me, able to speak openly, feel truly heard, and start to make sense of what's been weighing them down.
I work with a broad range of issues, including anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, relationship difficulties, and addiction. With specialist training in addiction counselling, I also support people facing compulsive behaviours, such as challenges with substances, gambling, pornography, or sex.
My approach is warm, honest, and holistic blending psychodynamic insights with practical tools to help you reconnect with yourself, discover healthier ways of coping, and move towards meaningful change. I offer in-person sessions in Sutton, Surrey, as well as online therapy across the UK.
I offer flexible availability for both in-person and online sessions. My schedule varies, so if you're interested in working together, please reach out and we can arrange a time that suits us both.
I also offer early morning 7am - 9am and evening 6pm - 9pm on Fridays.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and see whether working together feels like the right fit. It lasts up to an hour and offers a relaxed, welcoming space to talk a little about what's brought you to therapy.
I'll share more about how I work, answer any questions you might have, and together we we'll explore what you hope to gain from therapy. There's no pressure to share anything until you are ready -this time is about finding a pace and approach that feels comfortable for you.
If you decide to continue, ongoing sessions are 50 minutes and usually take place weekly. I offer both online and face to face sessions from my practice in Sutton SM1.
