About me
Life is a journey filled with major transitions that can leave us feeling uncertain, anxious, or even scared. Whether you're navigating marriage, divorce, becoming a parent, grief or bereavement, or even retirement, each stage presents its own unique set of emotions and challenges.
Early-life trauma can deeply impact who we become as adults. Whether it's adverse childhood experiences such as domestic abuse, sexual abuse, bullying, divorce, death, toxic family relationships, or substance misuse by parents or others, these formative events can shape our behaviours, beliefs, and emotional responses long into adulthood. If you find yourself feeling stuck or repeating certain patterns in life, these early experiences may be influencing your present reality.
Parenting is also a journey filled with a myriad of expectations and emotions, yet it is often an area where understanding can be lacking. Whether you are currently a parent, trying to become one, or facing difficulties in your parenting journey, the challenges you encounter can be profound and multifaceted. From struggles with conception and dealing with pregnancy loss to navigating the unique challenges of parenting a child with disabilities or neurodiversity, these experiences can deeply impact your life and well-being.
At times, these transitions can feel like they are beyond our control, making it difficult to find our footing. It’s important to know that feeling this way is completely normal; you are not alone in your experiences.
With person-centred support tailored to your needs, you can explore the impact these life changes have on your emotional and physical well-being. I offer a safe space for you to reflect on your feelings and experiences. Together, we will work towards gaining clarity and understanding about yourself as you navigate this chapter in your life. We are here to help you find a way forward that resonates with who you are and what you truly need during this time of transition.
