About me
I aim to provide a safe and confidential space for you to explore your experiences in life, without judgement or agenda. In such a fast paced world, we are left with such little time to digest what we go through, and counselling can provide the opportunity to reflect on what we are dealing with emotionally.
Moving at your pace, we can work together in the short or long term in a non-judgemental and calm environment. Whatever is troubling you, regular counselling sessions can provide opportunity for change, reflection, growth and healing.
I work with individual adults in an integrative way, influenced by humanistic and psychodynamic theory. During our weekly counselling sessions, I will encourage you to explore what is most important to you, and we will work together to progress on your journey towards growth and healing. We can work in person, online or on the telephone.
Counselling sessions can help with:
- managing anxiety and depression
- coping with stress
- improving self-esteem
- navigating change
- exploring challenges in relationships
- processing bereavement and loss
Training, qualifications & experience
Throughout my academic journey, I have maintained a curiosity for the human experience and vast individual differences, which led me to my degree in Psychology. Furthering my expertise in 2009, I attained the Foundation Certificate in Counselling and Psychotherapy, subsequently completing the Advanced Diploma in Humanistic and Integrative Counselling. This robust training was with the Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling and is accredited by both BACP and UKCP.
I am actively engaged in providing counselling services to private clients, both in-person in Swindon and through online and telephone work nationwide.
As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, I am conscious of my professional responsibilities and uphold a high standards of ethics, strictly adhering to ethical frameworks in all aspects of my practice.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
