About me
Hi I'm Nicola.

I am an integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor based in Peterborough. I am approachable, compassionate, warm and supportive. I know it can be scary taking the first steps into counselling. I provide a relaxed feel to our sessions, in the hope you will feel comfortable to be yourself, and I will be myself with you. I work with my clients to explore why they feel the way they do.
When working with you I might explore your past, present and future; in a holistic and safe way. My hope is that you will feel better equipped to move forward in your life outside the counselling room with a greater sense of who you are.
Training, qualifications & experience
Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor
I have a BSc(Hons) in Integrative Counselling, which means that I pull on a variety of modalities to support you in your process with me, predominately humanistic, psychodynamic and CBT. Within this I work in a relational and trauma-informed way. I have worked in both short and long term counselling settings.
I believe that my background in paediatric nursing, health visiting, brain injury and dementia has given me the privilege to be with people at challenging times of their lives. To provide a space for them to be human. I have seen the difference it can make just to be heard and seen by someone, and for the experience to be explored.
At the heart of all my experiences has been providing compassion, a non-judgemental space and the opportunity to get to know them and their story.

At the premises there is plenty of free parking and access to the room is secure via intercom. Only clients booked for sessions can attend the venue.
