About me
Evening counselling, especially for those who may feel out of place in the world and those longing to express how they are really feeling.
I have offered an engaged, warm and calm presence to those I have been fortunate enough to offer counselling to over the last 5 years.
Whatever thoughts and feelings you are having, I am not interested in judging them as right or wrong.
Each person is wonderfully unique to me, and so whilst there may be a specific issue you are looking for assistance with, I will not define you by that. By looking at what you may want to change, and also moving towards acceptance of what may be too hard or impossible to alter, I hope we can work together so that life becomes an easier thing for you to experience.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a professional qualification in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy and am an Accredited Registrant Member of the The National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS).
I have over 5 years experience of seeing clients in person and online, and adore continuing to develop my knowledge and absorption in counselling through things like additional courses, books and meet-up groups.
However, rather than just a standalone pursuit, I tend to see the therapeutic value that can be gained from all of life, be that a trip to the supermarket, the ups and downs of your football team, or the latest banishment on the Celebrity Traitors. Although I appreciate most people won't want to pay me £65 just to vent about the alienation you feel when using the self-service tills at Tesco.

Additional information
I offer a free introductory session. I find this is a more helpful guide for you to decide whether you would like to work with me, rather than having to commit to trying to build a therapeutic relationship based on a quick skim through an online advert.
Sessions last for an hour.
I have evening appointments available, as I realise these are more convenient for many people.
Whilst many clients prefer a regular weekly or fortnightly session, the frequency of these is completely at your discretion. The length of the session can also be adjusted if you find this works best for you.
