Hi I'm Nicky, welcome to my profile. I am a fully qualified, accredited Counsellor, Psychotherapist and Supervisor. I believe we can all at times feel angry, sad, worried or anxious and this is perfectly normal. However, sometimes having the opportunity to talk openly and freely with a counsellor, someone outside of our social network, can help us make sense of our thoughts and feelings. Counselling can support us through difficult times and through self exploration move towards a more positive and enjoyable life.
Are you feeling stressed, overwhelmed or anxious? Are you experiencing issues with your confidence? Do you feel depressed, have relationship issues or are trying to cope with loss or bereavement? Or maybe you are not at ease with your life and the direction it is going. Whatever struggles you are finding difficult, counselling offers a confidential, neutral space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings.
I have been working with adults and young people for nearly 20 years. Initially as a Youth Worker, working with young people with emotional and social difficulties, then as a Secondary School Teacher. I later trained as an Integrative Counsellor / Psychotherapist. I have extensive experience of working with stress, anxiety and depression. I have run a range of workshops on anxiety, self confidence, and resilience building with adults and young people. I also work as a Tutor, teaching trainee counsellors on an accredited counselling course.
Attending counselling can help people overcome many issues and pressures and gain greater control over their life. Exploring some of our thoughts, beliefs, feelings and behaviours can help us tackle a range of issues including anxiety, phobias, depression and relationship difficulties.
As an Integrative counsellor, I use a range of therapeutic approaches and techniques to relieve emotional distress and help you find solutions as soon as possible.
I offer both short term and long term therapy for YOUNG PEOPLE, ADULTS AND COUPLES. I see clients face to face and can also offer telephone counselling.
I provide supervision for counsellors.
I offer counselling from my private practices in Stratford Upon Avon and Leamington Spa.
If life is a struggle at the moment, contact me and we can work together to help resolve your issues and make life happier.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
