About me
Working in all aspects of therapy such as anxiety, depression, trauma, stress and many more has enabled me insight into the specific needs of a client allowing me to offer a bespoke tailor made approach to your therapy. I appreciate reaching out isn't easy. I want you to know that theirs no expectations from me. I want to just offer you a safe, relaxed space to explore whats going on for you, at your own pace, and in doing so together we can look at whats going on at the moment, explore the past and how these relationships have shaped you. no matter what your going through i will start to feel better.
My approach is humanistic integrative. What this means is i have trained in many different styles of therapy allowing me to draw knowledge from many sources. not being limited to one particular approach. There for i can asses and tailor our sessions for you personally. No two clients are the same so no approach should be either.
I understand that making contact can be incredibly difficult. but i want you to again know i expect nothing from you other than wanting change, my home for the duration of the session is your home. i want you to feel relaxed, safe and comfortable. i want us to develop a trusting relationship for us to explore your thoughts and feelings.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and hold a Bachelor of Science degree from the Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute. I have clinical experience working with bereavement, abuse, trauma, and presentations of anxiety and depression.
My approach is integrative, combining multiple theoretical frameworks to provide a tailored therapeutic intervention for each client. I offer a safe, non-judgemental therapeutic environment in which clients can explore their experiences openly. My practice is informed by attachment theory, unconscious processes, and trauma theory, and is grounded in humanistic and relational principles. The therapeutic focus is on understanding and working through relational patterns and unresolved past trauma.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

I respect that were in a cost of living crisis, therapy isn't cheap. however therapy is in my opinion one of the best investments you can make positively affecting your entire life. I purposely keep my prices more than reasonable to demonstrate this and make as accessible as possible.
