About me
I am a qualified Person-Centred counsellor and Psychotherapist, and am autistic, bringing my lived experience into my practice, where I also use Gestalt, NLP, somatic experience therapy, geek therapy methodologies, and dream therapy. I offer a space where, in the time we work together, you will be the only thing that matters, as my own experience has taught me that having someone to talk to that understands would make a difference.
Being heard, seen, understood, and accepted are four cornerstones of the human experience. Should this be what you are looking for to build a new foundation that supports your development and addresses any issues you may be experiencing, then I encourage you to take that step.
My practice is fuelled by my passion for Taoism, Zen, Existentialism, love of gaming, geek culture, and all things strange and unusual, to create an alternative therapeutic experience.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold Level 2, Level 3, and Level 4 CPCAB-accredited and regulated qualifications in Person Centred Counselling, as well as foundation-level NLP. Additionally, there's over 30 years of lived existential philosophy study, with a focus on Nietzsche, Sartre, and Camus, and over 10 years of lived Taoism study focusing on The Zhuangzi.
A fanboy for continuous CPD who is beginning the MSc Psychology/Counselling Psychology pathway.
