About me

Are you feeling overwhelmed, misunderstood, or like you're only just starting to make sense of who you truly are?

You’re not alone—and you don’t have to navigate this journey by yourself.

I’m Natasha, a late-identified autistic psychotherapeutic counsellor. I work with adults who are exploring their identity—often after discovering they are autistic, ADHD, or otherwise neurodivergent later in life. My clients often come to me feeling burnt out, disconnected, or trying to untangle a lifetime of masking, people-pleasing, or simply surviving in a world not designed for them.

I offer a compassionate, down-to-earth space where we can explore your inner world together. Clients often say they feel safe, seen, and understood in our sessions—and that I bring warmth, authenticity, and realness into the therapy room. I don’t believe in being a blank slate; I believe in being human with you.

My approach is neuro-affirming, trauma-informed, and deeply collaborative. I won't impose a one-size-fits-all model on you. Instead, I’ll meet you exactly where you are—with curiosity, respect, and care. Whether you’re navigating the aftershocks of late identification, processing trauma (including domestic abuse), or trying to understand your nervous system and emotional patterns, I’m here to walk alongside you.

Therapy with me isn’t about “fixing” you. It’s about making sense of your story, reclaiming your voice, and building a more compassionate relationship with yourself.

If you’re looking for a therapist who truly gets what it means to be neurodivergent in a neurotypical world, and who will meet you with honesty and heart—I’d love to hear from you.

Training, qualifications & experience

I'm a qualified somatic trauma therapist, breathwork coach, and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) practitioner. My approach integrates body and mind, recognising that trauma is often stored in the body—and that talking therapy alone isn’t always enough for deep healing. This is especially true for those who’ve experienced long-term adversity, relational trauma, or the chronic stress of living in a world that doesn’t reflect their needs.

I’m trained in several trauma reprocessing techniques, including the Rewind Technique, Flash Technique, and EFT. I’m currently expanding my skills through Parts Work training and plan to train in EMDR later this year.

This integrative toolkit allows us to tailor your therapy to your needs—gently and respectfully—whether we’re working with your nervous system, unprocessed trauma, or deep emotional patterns.

If my approach resonates with you, you’re welcome to reach out via this profile or my website. I offer a free 15-minute consultation to see whether I might be the right therapist for you.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information

Autistic Discovery & Me is a gentle, therapeutic support group I’ve created for late-identified or self-identified autistic adults who are navigating the emotional and somatic impact of discovering their neurodivergence.

This is not a clinical or diagnostic space—it’s a relational one. Together, we explore the unique grief, relief, confusion, and clarity that can follow the recognition of your autistic identity. The programme weaves together psychoeducation, embodied practices, reflection, and group sharing to support you in unmasking, reconnecting with yourself, and cultivating self-understanding and self-compassion.

The therapeutic support group is going to run for 8 weeks and each week we will approach a different aspect of the autistic experience, engage in gentle activities and group discussions with the aim to promote your exploration of your identity and experiences. Every week you will also be given the opportunity to engage in two somatic based exercises that can help promote your emotional wellbeing and nervous system regulation. This will be supported with handouts, worksheets and audio recordings to support your individual journey.

In week one participants will encouraged to choose 6 topics, which will be covered from week 2-7 from the following list:

  • Autistic Communication
  • Sensory Experiences
  • Autistic Masking
  • Intersectionality
  • Autistic Nervous System & Emotions
  • Interests, Passions and Monotropism
  • Ableism & Internalised Ableism
  • Imposter Syndrome
  • Autistic Burnout

The aim would be by the end of the therapeutic group support you will have a deeper understanding of your emerging autistic identity. The Autistic Discovery & Me Group will be delivered online and with a maximum of 6 particpant who need to commit to the whole 8 week programme. Participants will not be able to join part way through.

The cost is £25 per session.. All sessions need to be purchased to secure your place.
