About me
We can carry a lot for a long time. Therapy is a place separate from the rest of life where attention can be given to what matters: we explore your world, in your own time. It is a place to speak freely about what has been, and what might still be possible.
You might come because something has happened, such as a diagnosis, a bereavement, a relationship ending, or a decision that won’t resolve itself. Or you might arrive at therapy because of something harder to name, a feeling that life is off course, or a question about what it is all for.
Together we could explore:
- Wanting your life to change
- Feeling anxious, depressed, stressed, or betrayed
- Grief, or grieving a death that is coming
- Living with a serious illness
- Suicidal thoughts, guilt, anger, and uncertainty
- Relationship difficulties
- Questions of belonging, purpose, luck, and circumstance
My background
I have undertaken clinical client work in multiple cancer support services, working with people living with both curable and incurable diagnoses, and with the family members, partners, friends and carers alongside them. I have also spent many years in a suicide prevention service, listening to hundreds of people at moments when life felt impossible to continue. Alongside therapy, I run a technology company, and I understand the particular pressures of building something, and with it the uncertainty, responsibility, and expectations from others and yourself.
I trained in Existential Psychotherapy at Regent’s University London.
Practical details
I offer weekly, in-person appointments in Brixton on Saturdays.
Remote appointments available on request.
We would begin with an initial meeting and a chance to talk about what brings you, and to see whether working together feels right. There’s no obligation to continue beyond that first conversation and you do not need to have made a decision up front if you would like to work on a short term or longer term basis.
If you’re wondering whether therapy might help, you’re welcome to get in touch and email me at therapy@meaningcentre.com. I’m happy to answer questions before you decide anything.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
