About me
Hello, I am Nadine and welcome to my page. I will briefly introduce myself I am a mother of four with a personal experience of ADHD, and I know first-hand the transformative power of therapy. Diagnosed four years ago, my journey led me to understand the profound impact of talking therapy on mental health and well-being. This personal insight fuels my passion for helping others navigate their unique paths and their journey toward empowerment and healing. I am a pluralistic practitioner and what this means is that the sessions are built around the person's individual needs. The sessions have no set agenda but we will work in collaboration to find out what fits your needs at the time of therapy. We don't always know what we want and that's absolutely fine.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a BA Hons in Therapeutic Counselling and am a proud member of the BACP. Currently pursuing a Master's in Psychology, my commitment to continuous learning ensures that I offer the most effective and up-to-date therapeutic techniques. With a clear DBS, comprehensive insurance, and a deep understanding of neurodiversity, I am dedicated to providing a safe and supportive space for your personal growth. I have over 24 years of experience working with offending behaviour, domestic abuse, and substance misuse and I have personal and professional experience of neurodiversity.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
