About me
Life can feel overwhelming at times, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. I offer a warm, supportive and down-to-earth space where we can explore what’s on your mind at a pace that feels right for you.
Whatever you’re facing, you deserve a space where you feel listened to, understood and supported at your own pace. A space to pause, breathe and talk things through — without judgement, pressure or pretending to be okay.
A supportive space to unpack your thoughts, make sense of your emotions and reconnect with yourself.
I am a qualified counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I provide a safe, confidential and compassionate space where clients can feel heard, understood and supported at their own pace.
My approach is warm, non-judgemental and client-centred, recognising that every individual’s experiences and needs are unique. Alongside my counselling training, I have experience working with children and young people within supportive settings, helping individuals navigate emotional difficulties, anxiety, low self-esteem, stress, relationships and life challenges.
I aim to support clients in exploring their thoughts and feelings in a therapeutic environment that promotes self-awareness, resilience and emotional well-being. I believe in building a trusting therapeutic relationship where clients feel comfortable expressing themselves openly and authentically.
In addition to in-person sessions, I offer online counselling sessions, providing flexible and accessible support tailored to individual needs. My practice is guided by empathy, respect and professionalism, with a focus on creating a supportive space for growth and healing.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a degree in counselling and am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), working within their Ethical Framework to provide safe and professional practice.
My training has equipped me with knowledge and skills in person-centred counselling approaches, therapeutic communication, safeguarding, mental health awareness, and working ethically with diverse client needs. Alongside my qualification, I have experience supporting children and young people within educational and supportive settings, providing emotional support and creating a safe space for individuals to explore their thoughts and feelings.
Through my experience, I have worked with clients presenting with issues such as anxiety, stress, low mood, self-esteem difficulties, emotional well-being concerns, and relationship challenges. I continue to develop my professional knowledge through ongoing learning, reflective practice, and supervision to ensure I provide effective and compassionate support.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
