About me

I am a fully qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and I use an integrative approach to counselling which means we will work together to decide what will be most helpful for you. I believe that everyone is an individual therefore each session will be adapted to meet your needs.

Many people find counselling useful as a place to explore any challenges they may be having. I offer a safe and confidential space where I will listen and not judge with the aim of understanding where you are now, and how you would like your life to be in the future.

Helping people live a better life is my passion. It might mean learning to set boundaries, working through a loss or helping you to change a pattern of behaviour that is keeping you stuck.

My hope is to help you take better care of yourself and in doing so improve your quality of life.

If this sounds like something that might be helpful for you please reach out today and we can start our counselling journey together.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have a Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy & Groupwork and a Certificate in Counselling Skills.

I have ASIST Suicide Intervention, What's The Harm Self-Harm and Mental Health First Aid training.

I am qualified to work with children and young people aged 10-18 and have a BACP and SQA Certificate in Counselling Children and Young People.
