About me
If your child is overwhelmed, misunderstood, refusing school, self-harming, or you’re worried about them in any way, you don’t have to wait months or years for CAMHS support.
I offer a safe, experienced space to explore what’s going on and get support straight away. When you come to a session, you can expect a gentle, thoughtful therapist who will meet you with warmth, curiosity and without judgement.
Young People / Young Adults
If school, friendships, anxiety, confidence, or everyday life feels overwhelming, you’re not alone. So many young people and young adults feel under pressure, misunderstood, or unsure how to cope with everything they’re carrying.
Together, we can take small, steady steps to ease pressure, make sense of what’s happening, build friendships that feel genuine, and strengthen confidence so life feels more manageable.
For some young people, the summer holidays can offer a little breathing space to reflect, reset, and begin making changes before the new school year begins.
Addiction
If you’re struggling to keep up with your mates, using substances, or finding that your gaming or gambling has started to feel out of control, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
I offer a kind and caring space to talk about what’s happening without judgement.
What I offer
- Short and longer-term therapy tailored to young people, young adults and families
- Evidence-based support for managing and recovering from addiction
- A warm, non-judgemental and affirming space for neurodivergent and queer clients
For young people, therapy often leads to less pressure to fit in, clearer ways to cope with stress, and greater confidence in school, friendships and everyday life.
For parents, it often results in calmer family life, fewer crises, clearer steps to support your child, and renewed hope for the future.
Over time, many clients notice not only fewer struggles, but greater confidence, joy and more freedom. Therapy can bring relief and connection, and at times it can even be surprisingly enjoyable.
Book a free 15-minute phone or video chat. It’s a relaxed, no-pressure conversation to see if we feel like a good fit.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Once you reach out via my email address, my phone number or using the email me/ contact box on this page, I will respond within 24 hours. Please check your spam email folder if you have not heard from me within this time frame.
We will then agree on a time/place for our first appointment. I find weekly appointments are normally most appropriate and generally we keep to the same time/place each week. Parents/carers are welcome to join for the first session if this would be helpful.
