About me

I offer a warm, down-to-earth space where you can talk openly and make sense of what’s going on for you. Therapy with me is collaborative and genuine – you’ll feel heard, supported, and gently encouraged to see things from new perspectives, at your own pace.

My approach combines empathy and understanding with practical tools for change. I draw on a range of therapeutic models, all rooted in a simple idea: that meaningful change happens when we become more aware of our thoughts and emotions, learn to work with our experiences rather than against them, and build stronger connections – both with ourselves and others.

Before training as a therapist, I spent many years working across business, technology and creative roles. Those experiences taught me how people adapt, grow and search for meaning in their work and lives.

In both private practice and my work for a charity offering affordable therapy to people from diverse backgrounds, I’ve gained extensive experience working with anxiety, depression, OCD, low self-esteem and relationship difficulties, as well as
neurodiversity, perfectionism and identity.

I believe therapy should adapt to you, rather than trying to fit you into a mould. My aim isn’t to fix you, but to help you develop a deeper understanding of yourself and find a greater sense of freedom in how you live.

I work with:

  • Depression
  • Generalised anxiety disorder
  • Work-related anxiety
  • Stress
  • Sex and relationship difficulties
  • OCD
  • Neurodiversity
  • Parenting
  • Emotional regulation

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
