About me

Having been through the search to find a therapist many times myself, I know what a personal, and often daunting, process it can be. It can be hard to know where to start, especially if you've never had therapy before, and only you will know what feels right for you. I often encourage friends and new clients to 'date around' and not feel pressured to stick with the first therapist they speak to. Finding someone you trust and feel comfortable opening up to is paramount to the therapeutic process.

Like many therapists, my own journey through grief, heartbreak, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions has shaped my approach. I understand how vital support can be during life’s challenges. Whether you’re navigating a tough transition, processing trauma, or seeking clarity and growth, I’m here to provide a space for healing and positive change. I offer a 20-minute intro chemistry call so we can chat and see if we're a good fit for each other.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am an Integrative Therapist, which means I am trained in a wide range of therapeutic modalities that I may draw upon in our work together. I’m also a coach and I have a background in yoga and meditation, making me both holistically-minded and solution focused. I like to explore the full picture with my clients, embracing the awareness that everything is deeply interconnected, in order to better understand why they may be feeling the way they are. My sessions are client-led, meaning you take the lead and we work through the things you want to focus on each session.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
