About me

Feeling lost after a major life change? Whether you're navigating relocation, heartbreak, grief, burnout, a career change, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, talking about these changes in therapy can help you make sense of what you're experiencing. Life transitions can leave us feeling anxious, overwhelmed or uncertain about what comes next. You don't have to navigate them alone.

As a British-American expat, I understand first-hand the challenges of starting over, adapting to new cultures, and rebuilding a sense of home. My own experiences of grief, anxiety, depression, heartbreak and relocating across multiple countries have shaped the way I work, allowing me to offer both professional expertise and genuine understanding. Whether you're processing trauma, adjusting to a significant life change, or seeking greater self-awareness and growth, I offer a warm, collaborative space where you can feel heard, supported and challenged at a pace that feels right for you.

I'm currently offering sessions at £50 (usually £70) for new and returning clients attending weekly sessions, with an initial commitment of six sessions before we review our work together. I also offer a reduced-rate introductory session for £35. You're welcome to book a free 15-minute introductory call so we can discuss what you're looking for and whether working together feels like the right fit. All sessions are online.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am an Integrative Therapist, which means I draw from a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches to tailor therapy to your individual needs, rather than following a single model. I am also a qualified NLP Coach, with a background in yoga and meditation that informs my understanding of the mind-body connection.

Therapy and coaching can complement each other beautifully. Therapy helps us understand and heal the experiences that have shaped us, while coaching supports you to make meaningful changes and move forward with greater confidence. Many clients navigating significant life transitions benefit from both, so where appropriate, I integrate coaching tools into our work together.

Rather than focusing solely on individual symptoms, I consider the wider picture, exploring the experiences, relationships and patterns that may be contributing to how you're feeling. Sessions are led by what feels most important to you, giving you the space to explore at your own pace while feeling supported, gently challenged and empowered to create lasting change.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Areas of counselling I deal with

Other areas of counselling I deal with

Having grown up attending international schools and spent most of my life as a British-American expat, I understand the unique challenges of building a life across different countries and cultures. Whether you're preparing to leave the UK, have recently relocated, or are adjusting to life somewhere new, these experiences can bring uncertainty, loneliness, grief and a loss of identity.

Relocation is just one of many significant life transitions. Career changes, redundancy, relationship breakdowns, becoming a parent, retirement or losing someone important can all leave you feeling overwhelmed and unsure of who you are or what comes next. I specialise in supporting adults through these periods of change, helping you process difficult emotions, reconnect with yourself and navigate life's transitions and the emotional dysregulation that comes along with it, with greater confidence and resilience.

Further information

My work focuses on supporting adults through anxiety, panic attacks, grief, heartbreak, major life transitions, depression, family and relationship difficulties, and exploring the lasting impact of childhood experiences.

Alongside therapy, I offer coaching where it feels appropriate, particularly for clients who want support not only in understanding themselves, but also in creating meaningful change. Together, we'll explore what's holding you back, strengthen your self-awareness, and help you move towards a life that feels more aligned with your values, needs and goals.

Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply know that something needs to change, therapy can offer the space to pause and make sense of your experiences, and start moving forward with more clarity, confidence and self-compassion.
