About me
I am a Clinical Psychologist with specialist expertise in helping people work through issues such as depression, anxiety, unresolved trauma, anger, and intimacy issues. I use evidence-based psychological therapies to help people find meaning, improve relationships, and reduce suffering. I have additional training in psychodynamic psychotherapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and therapies focused on processing trauma. In addition to my private practice, I'm proud to hold a senior role in a mental health service based in London. I offer sessions in the Swiss Cottage and Belsize Park area of London.
People seek therapy for lots of reasons. Perhaps you notice repeating patterns or have parts of your life that you can't make sense of. It may be that you have struggled with relationships for a long time or perhaps you can't figure out what's going wrong. My approach helps people to understand the root of their problems and move forward with life.
I provide both short and long-term therapy. Together, we will make sense of your issues and think about how change can be made. We will work together to improve your well-being and mental health. Most importantly, I will provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can do the work you need. Please get in touch if you have any questions.
Training, qualifications & experience
There are many different types of therapists and training paths, which can make it challenging for those seeking therapy to discern what is best for them. Below, I have provided some information about my qualifications. I understand it is unlikely that everyone accessing therapy will be aware of the various training routes and what they imply in terms of quality. However, what I would like you to understand from this is that I am highly trained, deeply care about my work, and am committed to helping those who choose to work with me.
I hold a doctorate in clinical psychology from University College London.
This qualification means that I have completed an undergraduate degree, gained substantial experience working in NHS mental health services, and then pursued a doctorate in clinical psychology while employed by and working within the NHS. This training has equipped me with both therapy and research skills at a doctoral level. Many individuals with this qualification go on to assume senior positions in mental health services.
My comprehensive training enables me to consider how evidence-based therapies can benefit individuals in various settings. This flexibility allows me to work in a way that best suits your needs and to draw upon a range of approaches if necessary.
