About me
A space to honour your experience: As a psychotherapist & coach who specialises in fertility/subfertility/fertility impairment, I am dedicated to working exclusively with all aspects of fertility. As a PhD researcher on this topic, my passion for focusing solely on (in)fertility and reproductive loss also stems from my own experiences of living through 'unexplained infertility' (UI), which led to a twelve-year roller coaster involving medical intervention and emotional upheaval. Therefore, I believe I am well-positioned to explore any aspect or stage of your fertility journey with compassion and understanding, providing a safe space to honour and work through your experience.
A space to find hope in an isolated world: I offer a unique combination of psychotherapy and coaching, providing the best of both as we navigate this journey together. With my expertise, I understand and communicate the language of (in)fertility and the complex losses involved. It is my privilege to work with you and gently guide you towards your goals.
Fertility challenges, Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ARTs), and the often-unacknowledged grief of invisible losses carry a heavy stigma. I invite you to share your unique experience in a safe, supportive space. Together, we will make sense of your individual situation and find the way forward to where you need to be. You are not alone!
Training, qualifications & experience
I gained my diploma in person-centred counselling in 2012 at Strathclyde University, Glasgow; my MSc in counselling and psychotherapy at the University of Edinburgh (2021) in the subfertility specialisation; and my PhD in fertility impairment (2025), all while also running my private practice.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
Fertility impairment, or (in)fertility as it is more widely recognised, calls for a different approach. The fertility counsellor must possess a thorough understanding of all parenting options, including adoption and surrogacy. I am experienced, educated, and trained to recognise the unique and complex challenges you face in this often unexpected situation, and to provide the expert (in)fertility counselling, psychotherapy and coaching you need.
