About me

I am an Integrative psychotherapist specialising in addiction, ADHD and relationships.

Over the years, I have worked with individuals facing complex mental health difficulties ranging from complex/relational trauma, addiction, eating disorders, neurodiversity, interpersonal and behavioural problems, mood disorders and other clinical issues.

As an integrative psychotherapist, my therapeutic approach is grounded mainly on psychodynamic, relational, cognitive-behavioural, and existential modalities. I also do inner child work and shadow work, and where relevant, I use interventions deriving from the aforementioned training.

My priority is you and how comfortable you feel sharing your experience and feelings. I am committed to work with you in a way that you are in control of the process and at a pace that feels manageable.

My aim is to support you in finding ways to reach your potential and goals, to explore and discover more about yourself and your choices, and to live a fulfilling life as you have imagined it.

I am committed to supporting you through challenges and changes. I understand that each one of us has unique temperament, beliefs, experiences, needs and dreams; all of which needs to be seen, understood, and attended to.

The session will be your own confidential and safe space where there is no room for judgement or prejudice. Adults of all cultures, sexual orientations, religious backgrounds, and neurodiversity are welcome to my practice.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have a BSc in Psychology, an MSc in Clinical and Cognitive Neuropsychology and Neuroscience and a postgraduate degree in Integrative Therapy.

Additionally, I have been trained in, and hold certificates in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Complex Relational Trauma, ADHD clinical service provision, and couples therapy.

Historically I have worked both in the private sector and in partnership with NHS, in various capacities.

Currently, I work as an integrative therapist in a mental health hospital in London where I see clients for individual sessions, facilitate group therapy, and provide psychoeducational workshops, in addition to running my own private practice

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
