About me

Are you struggling with feeling anxious or low? Do you need someone to talk to in a safe and confidential space? Whether you're struggling with issues from your past, you're experiencing difficulties in the present, or you're consumed with negative or anxious thoughts, I'm here to help.

I am a compassionate and friendly counsellor who will help you feel understood, self-aware and empowered to make the positive changes you want for yourself. Together, we can work to identify the root cause of your issues and find a way forward.

As someone who has studied and practiced various therapeutic disciplines, I am well-equipped to tailor my approach to fit your unique situation and life experiences. I understand that our identities are often influenced by our backgrounds and life experiences. That's why I'll take the time to understand you as a whole person, not just a list of problems or symptoms.

Counselling and psychotherapy can be challenging, but also enlightening and life-changing. Taking this step is a positive and valuable opportunity to reflect on your life and prioritize your well-being.

I am dedicated to finding the best possible outcome for you. You can trust that our sessions will always be confidential, non-judgmental and honest.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
