Support Through Peri-Menopause, Menopause & Beyond.
As a fully trained EMBERS menopause-informed CBT professional, I offer dedicated support to women navigating the often overwhelming emotional and psychological impact of perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause.
This stage of life can bring with it a wide range of experiences - anxiety, low mood, irritability, brain fog, loss of confidence, sleep disturbances, and changes in self-identity or relationships. You may feel isolated, misunderstood, or like you're not quite yourself anymore.
I provide a safe, understanding space where you can talk openly about what you’re going through. Using a menopause-informed approach rooted in person-centred counselling and CBT techniques, I’ll help you better understand the changes you're facing and support you in managing your symptoms, rebuilding self-trust, and restoring emotional balance.
You don’t have to go through this alone. With the right support, this phase of life can also be one of reconnection, growth, and renewal.
Bereavement Support
Grief is a deeply personal and often overwhelming experience. Whether you are mourning the loss of a loved one or a beloved pet, it can feel as though the world has shifted beneath your feet. You may find yourself struggling with sadness, anger, guilt, confusion, or even numbness - all of which are natural, valid responses to loss.
As a trained CRUSE bereavement volunteer, I offer sensitive, non-judgemental support to help you navigate the grieving process in your own time and in your own way. I understand that grief doesn’t follow a set path, and there is no “right” way to feel or heal.
I also provide support for the complex feelings of loss that arise when caring for or gradually losing a loved one to dementia, recognising that this kind of grief can be deeply challenging and often overlooked.
Loss of a Pet
Pet bereavement can be especially isolating, as others may not always understand the depth of that bond. I provide a space where your grief - whatever its source-is recognised, respected, and held with care.
Together, we can explore your loss, honour your feelings, and gently support your journey toward healing and acceptance.
Support with Workplace Stress and Burnout
With over 20 years of experience working in the NHS, I have a deep, first-hand understanding of the pressures and challenges that can come with demanding work environments. I recognise how workplace stress, burnout, bullying, unrealistic expectations, and the constant drive to “keep going” can take a significant toll on your mental and emotional wellbeing. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, undervalued, or emotionally exhausted, I offer a supportive, confidential space where you can talk openly, make sense of your experience, and begin to rebuild your resilience and sense of self.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
