About me
Providing a safe space for you to feel heard, valued and accepted.
Life can sometimes bring challenges involving difficult feelings and unhelpful thoughts. You might feel stressed, stuck, unhappy and unsure of what to do.
Therapy can help you navigate through difficult moments. Speaking to someone impartial and supportive can help you find a new perspective and understanding of the situation you find yourself in. I am here to support you in whatever you are going through.
I am a genuine and compassionate counsellor/ psychotherapist, providing a safe and confidential space where we work together on the issues you are struggling with. I use a combination of theories and can adapt to your specific needs as you progress through therapy.
Together we explore thoughts, feelings and behaviours to identify their origin as well as unhelpful patterns causing you distress. As you learn more about yourself, you begin to create a life which feels more real to you. This will ease the struggles you are experiencing, strengthen your confidence, improve relationships and open new possibilities.
People often feel uncomfortable talking about their feelings and experiences. Reaching out is scary, and it takes courage to face fears. I can reassure you it is a positive step towards your well-being, and I hope that my warm approach will ease the worry of coming to therapy.
My commitment is to provide support without judgment, backed up by my life experience and professional knowledge.
Please feel welcome to contact me for a free initial 20-minute informal chat over the phone. This is an opportunity for both of us to speak and for me to answer any questions you might have. Once you decide you want to continue, we can arrange a further session.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
