About me
Hi, I'm Marc - If you’re ready for someone who’s human first, counsellor second - I’m here. Are you juggling a lot - stress that never clocks out, trauma that won’t stay small, high standards, low energy, and that nagging voice saying “Why can’t I just cope?”
Maybe you’re burnt out, masking with humour, or stuck in the loop of “I’m fine” when you’re anything but. You want relief, clarity, from someone who actually gets it, not a clipboard robot. You want a space where you can swear, laugh, cry, contradict yourself, and still feel safe. You want life to suck less - and maybe even feel good
No-nonsense, real-world therapy. I bring humour, warmth, and a modern approach, serious work without the gloomy vibes. From corporate burnout to trauma, LGBTQ+ identities, substance misuse, chronic stress, I’ve seen it, sat with it, and helped people move through it. Therapy can be human, honest - even fun.
No judgement, no perfection pressure, no stiff suits. Just you, being real, and me walking beside you while you untangle the chaos. Life is tough, but it can also be brilliant. Let’s find the brilliance together.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Additional information
Everyone deserves the opportunity to beat back what's clouding their life. I know that therapy is an investment, an undertaking and we can work together to make it affordable and tailored to your situation.
Further information
It may sound cliché but I welcome your trauma - from the day-to-day to the big life events. I work with clients to explore themselves. I wholeheartedly welcome individuals from all walks of life - neurodiverse to neurotypical and LGBTQ. I will provide a safe, open, nonjudgmental space for you to express yourself in the very best ways that only you can. We work to your needs, at your pace.
We'll start simply - you bring what's showing up for you and I'll bring my training in Psychodynamic and Person-Centred therapies and we'll map out the rest together. You don't need to lay out your entire life in hour one. Instead, we focus on the "right now" and what matters to you. My promise: no judgement, no fluff - just you, being heard.
I offer in-person and online therapy sessions, these sessions last 50 minutes. We can discuss in-person availability and what works best.
