About me
If you've been feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or like no one truly understands what you're going through, you're not alone.
Perhaps you're adjusting to a new culture, far from home, or trying to hold everything together while feeling overwhelmed. Reaching out isn't always easy, but just by being here, you've already taken a brave first step.
I'm here to walk alongside you and offer a calm, compassionate space where you can talk freely and feel genuinely supported.
I'm a qualified integrative counsellor from Hong Kong, trained in the UK with a master's degree in counselling. I offer therapy in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, creating space for you to express yourself in the language you feel most at ease with. I welcome individuals from all backgrounds and aim to provide a non-judgmental, caring, and culturally sensitive environment where you can feel truly heard and accepted.
My approach is flexible and tailored to your needs. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, homesickness, emotional overwhelm or want a space to talk, we'll work together at your pace to understand your experiences, navigate life transitions, and find ways to cope and move forward.
Sessions are available in person in Manchester or online via video or phone, with flexible availability including some weekends. I offer a free 20-minute initial meeting, allowing us to get to know one another, discuss your needs and see if we’re a good fit.
If you have any questions or would like to arrange a chat, please feel free to send me a message or email.
*If you're waiting for a reply via email, please check your junk folder , sometimes messages sneak in there by mistake.*
Training, qualifications & experience
My qualifications and training:
- Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
- Accredited Member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS)
- MSc in Integrative Counselling, Bangor University, UK
- BSc in Psychology, Swansea University, UK
My experience:
I’ve worked with adults from a wide range of backgrounds, both in-person and online, offering short- and long-term counselling support. My experience includes helping clients with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, stress, relationship and family difficulties, cultural adjustment, and the emotional impact of childhood experiences.
I also have experience supporting international students and individuals who’ve relocated to the UK, including BNO visa holders, as they navigate homesickness, life transitions, academic pressure, and emotional overwhelm.
With a background in psychology and counselling training in the UK, I bring an understanding of how cultural and personal experiences shape the way we think, feel, and relate to others. I’ve worked across various settings, including private counselling organisations, third-sector services, community organisations, and online platforms.
Whatever you’re facing, I’m here to offer a warm, compassionate space where you can feel heard, supported, and empowered to move forward at your own pace.
My approach:
I believe there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, because each person’s story and needs are unique. As an integrative counsellor, I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches - including person-centred therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), psychodynamic, and mindfulness-based therapies, so we can tailor each session to what feels most helpful for you.
Whether you need a space to explore your thoughts and emotions or you’re looking for practical tools to manage anxiety, stress, or low mood, I’ll work with you at a pace that feels safe and right. My role is to listen with care and compassion, and to create a supportive environment where you feel heard, respected, and never judged.
You don’t have to go through things alone - together, we can begin to make sense of what’s been difficult and explore ways to feel more grounded, clear, and in control.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
