About me
Hello, thank you for visiting my profile. Hope you get an idea of what I offer and how I support you. I am an experienced and certified psychotherapy counsellor and a psychotherapist who works with individual clients, couples, both adults and teenagers. My working style is warm, empathetic and supportive and I am extremely passionate about working with my clients.
I offer sessions in a variety of ways to meet your needs, whether online, outdoors or face-to-face. I work relationally and creatively bringing together many disciplines such as transactional analysis, attachment theory, polyvagal theory, and trauma-informed therapy and many more.
In my opinion counselling and therapy is not about fixing you or finding what is wrong with you. It is about understanding, finding, clarifying and helping you to work through complex, difficult emotions. Trauma and traumatic experiences can be something you have kept as a “secret” for too long or they are still affecting your life one way or another. In our sessions I will support you to talk about your experiences without judgement and within the confidentiality agreement.
I think the key to successful psychotherapy lies in the relationship between the client and the therapist. In this sense, I empathise and work relationally at your own pace. I respect and appreciate that your experience is unique to you and understand how difficult it is to find support. I look forward to welcoming you to my therapy space and will make sure you feel comfortable from the moment you contact me.
I believe that we all have the right to be heard and understand. By providing ethical and empathic therapeutic relationships, I will help you to find your own healing path and make changes towards your personal growth and well-being.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
