Maeve Keenoy, Dip. Couns. MBACP
I am a qualified person-centred counsellor and a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I provide one-to-one counselling within a safe, confidential environment where you are able to constructively explore any issues that are causing you difficulties. I believe that by building a strong therapeutic relationship and working collaboratively there is potential to increase self-awareness, understanding and confidence which can lead to clarity, insight and change.
I have experience of working in a variety of agencies, including working in specialist agencies for substance misuse and rape and sexual abuse. I also have extensive experience of working with young people (16-25), including providing counselling within educational settings.
The number of sessions can be negotiated and I can offer flexible appointment times, including some evening and weekend appointments. You also have the option of an informal chat on the phone prior to booking an appointment to discuss your needs and for you to decide whether I am the right counsellor for you.
If you do not have an email response from me within 48hrs please check your spam/ junk mail folder.
