About me

Welcome

If you're feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stuck in self-doubt, or disconnected from the person you truly want to be - you're in the right place.

I’m Lynne a compassionate and dedicated counsellor and accredited belief coding facilitator, and I'm here to guide you on your journey towards healing, self-discovery, and personal growth. In my warm, non-judgmental therapy cabin, you'll find a safe space where you can finally be heard and understood without fear or pressure.

Whether you're struggling with emotional challenges or simply seeking more clarity in life, I'm here to help you find balance and well-being.

How I can help you

I specialise in helping individuals from 16 years old to rediscover their true selves and overcome the blocks that have been holding them back.

Do any of these sound familiar to you?

  • Feeling disconnected from who you're meant to be
  • Confusion about your identity or purpose
  • Difficulty making decisions, always second-guessing yourself?
  • Constantly worrying or stuck in procrastination
  • Questioning your abilities and self-worth
  • Struggling with low confidence, low self-esteem or feeling like you're never "enough"

If any of this resonates, I'm here to tell you that you don't have to feel this way forever. Many of these challenges can stem from deep-rooted experiences, such as :

  • Anxiety and Depression
  • Childhood trauma or a wounded inner child
  • Family influences and expectations
  • People-pleasing behaviours
  • PTSD, and emotional, sexual, or physical abuse
  • Life transitions like divorce, job loss, becoming a parent, or navigating midlife changes.

Through our work together, I can help you identify and release the limiting beliefs that have been holding you back, empowering you to reclaim your confidence and sense of self.

My Therapeutic Approach

I use various modalities tailored to each client's unique needs. These are:

Inner Child Therapy is used when an individual is experiencing symptoms of a wounded inner child. These emotional wounds of childhood present in childlike aspects of a person’s personality. The inner child embodies unresolved childhood experiences, unmet needs, feelings and emotions as well as traumas. We will explore ways you can heal your inner child that are unique to you. Recognising and working on these aspects is crucial for healing.

Belief Coding is both science backed and spiritual backed healing modality that works by changing your limiting beliefs at a subconscious level. This modality is extremely powerful and effective in clearing limiting beliefs at the root cause usually in one session by reshaping the memories that are attached to the trauma or life experience then coding in new beliefs. Belief Coding can be used for Anxiety, Depression, Fears, Phobias, Pain and much more.

Trauma Informed Therapy. Trauma informed therapy is an approach that recognises the impact of trauma on a persons life. It focuses on building trust, creating safety and stabilization through the understanding and knowledge of the nervous system, explore the ways trauma affects brain function, behaviour and relationships. We will focus on your autonomy and strengths. You will be given techniques to empower you to regain control and to manage the effects of trauma.

Solution Focused Therapy is a brief, goal oriented therapeutic approach that focuses on helping individuals find practical solutions to their problems rather than dwell on the past or exploring a root cause. I will encourage and empower you to envision your desired future and identify the strengths and resources you already have. Individuals have an active part in their own healing process.  We will explore together solutions along with clear and achievable goals that will create the change you want in your life moving forward.

What to expect from therapy

Each session is for 1 hour which can be either face to face in my therapy cabin, via online platform Zoom or in exceptional circumstances within your own home. At the beginning of the session we will discuss together for around 10 mins our working agreement which has important information ie limits of confidentiality. It is normal for you during the session to feel emotional as we explore our thoughts, feelings and experiences. You can expect to feel safe, heard and supported throughout. Sessions are usually weekly or fortnightly, short or long term.

What to do next

If you feel I am the counsellor for you then please email me or request an introductory call. I offer a FREE 20 minute confidential phone consultation where we can discuss your reasons for counselling, and we can see how we both feel about working together in a therapeutic way. Payment terms and fees can be found in the fees and availability section.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Areas of counselling I deal with

Other areas of counselling I deal with

Full Description of the following therapeutic techniques I use which are underpinned by a Person Centred Approach

Psychodynamic:- This encourages the client to open up and explore unresolved issues and conflict hidden in their unconscious and predominately from their past that are affecting their mood and behaviour -in the here and now.

Transactional Analysis:- Transactional analysis is a talking therapy. Sessions are designed to explore an individual's personality and how this has been shaped by experience - particularly those stemming from childhood. I recognise that we all have the potential to live the life we want, rather than the life we are programmed to live. Sometimes however this potential is hindered by repetitive patterns or 'unconscious scripts' that have been formed in our past

CBT:- Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is a talking therapy that can help you manage your problems by changing the way you think and behave. CBT is based on the concept that your thoughts, feelings, physical sensations and actions are interconnected, and that negative thoughts and feelings can trap you in a vicious cycle. CBT aims to help you deal with overwhelming problems in a more positive way by breaking them down into smaller parts. You're shown how to change these negative patterns to improve the way you feel.

Testimonials

I would like to say a special thank you to all those kind enough to share their experiences. It was a pleasure and privilege working with you.

I really connected with Lynne. A wonderful professional, knowledgeable, patient, understanding person. In the past, I had attempted counselling and it was awful. It really put me off; so, when I meet Lynne, it was refreshing and I suppose it was a massive relieve for me.

Working on you is not easy, however; there was a safe place for me to express my feelings, actually really open up, explore who I was, embrace who I am and learn to think differently about issues in my life. Lynne is a realist, flexible, she will help you understand things, things you never thought of. As hard as it can be, she will guide through at your own pace.

I walked into my first session broken, feeling worthless, confused, angry and lost. I walked out confident, happy, stronger and I knew I was worth it. No longer broken. I can't thank you enough and I will highly recommend your services.

The journey has gone beyond words and my self acceptance and belief as flourished. Your true authenticity, caring nature, inspiring warmth and vast knowledge have moved me through some of the most challenging times and given me a tool kit to continue to develop. My endless thanks I offer you for a precious gift that you gave to me, a safe and held space that was second to none.

Fantastic person would recommend her as a counsellor. She is very friendly and knows the best way to help you sort your problems.

I am so very thankful for Lynne and the fantastic service she provides.

Belief Coding Testimonials

I recently had the pleasure of having a belief coding session off Lynne and what else can I say, but wow! She was so professional throughout and soon got to the root of my discomfort (which was different to what I initially thought it was). She held space for me and bought in some lovely tools to help me heal, as I dealt with the emotions that surfaced and really encouraged me to push on with my new beliefs at the coding in section. I highly recommend a session with her. Thank you so much!

I feel so grateful and blessed to have had a Belief Coding facilitation with beautiful Lynne. I was drawn to her vibrant energy, warm smile and reassuring manner. Truly met a Earth Angel, Lynne oozes compassion and truly made me feel safe, heard, encouraged and worthy of healing. Lynne gently explored every negative belief through the session, ensuring that my tears of fear and sadness became tears of true laughter, excitement and happiness.
