About me
Welcome, I'm Lyndsey, a qualified integrative counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I provide a calm, welcoming, and confidential space where people of all ages can make sense of what is happening in their life and impacting their wellbeing.
I will hold a safe space if you or a loved one are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, burnt out, or disconnected from yourself and others. I offer a grounded, relational approach that supports emotional wellbeing and understanding.
Whether you are navigating trauma, neurodiversity, relationship challenges, school pressures, or simply trying to find your footing again. Therapy is a space where you can show up exactly as you are and receive empathy and understanding.
I support children and families experiencing school-related challenges. Including anxiety, school avoidance, dysregulation, and difficulties coping with educational or social pressures. As a parent, I understand the impact this can have on families and how difficult these times can be to navigate a way through. For children and young people, sessions are adapted to be age-appropriate, creative and supportive, giving them a safe space to express themselves without any pressure or judgement.
I am a certified neurodiversity coach and registered Interplay facilitator, which has equipped myself to support children and parents/carers through play.
My practice is fully insured, holds up-to-date safeguarding, and I have a current and live DBS.
The decision to begin or return to counselling is a big step to becoming the best version of yourself that you can be. I will support you at a pace that is right for you and work collaboratively to explore and understand your experiences. If working together would be of benefit to you or a loved one, you are welcome to get in touch.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
