About me

I’m an integrative counsellor who is passionate about supporting people at the moments they need it most. I believe deeply in the power of a safe, compassionate space somewhere you can pause, breathe, and explore what’s really going on beneath the surface. My approach brings together Person-Centred, CBT, and Gestalt modalities, allowing me to tailor our work to your unique needs, experiences, and pace.

I work collaboratively, helping you make sense of your thoughts, feelings, and patterns, while gently supporting you to move toward clarity, resilience, and meaningful change. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, low mood, life transitions, relationship challenges, or simply feeling stuck, I’m here to walk alongside you with warmth, curiosity, and respect.

Outside of the therapy room, I’m someone who finds joy in simple grounding things reading, learning, being outdoors, and spending time with animals. I’ve worked with horses for many years and have a lifelong love of dogs, walking, and exploring new places. These experiences have shaped my belief in connection, presence, and the importance of feeling understood.

MindBloom was created from a desire to offer a space where growth feels possible, where you can reconnect with yourself, and where you don’t have to face difficult moments alone. If you’re ready to begin that journey, I’m here to support you.

Training, qualifications & experience

I’m an integrative counsellor registered with the BACP (Membership No. 00956001), qualified to Level 5 in Therapeutic Counselling and trained in Person‑Centred, CBT, and Gestalt approaches. I have over 1,500 hours of clinical experience, supporting clients to explore their thoughts, feelings and behaviours in a safe, empathic and non‑judgemental space.

My background spans 25+ years across community health, Social Prescribing, Wellbeing Coaching and Leadership Roles. I’ve worked within multi‑disciplinary teams, local charities and social care services, helping people navigate complex emotional, social and practical challenges. This experience gives me a deep understanding of mental and physical health conditions, life transitions, trauma, grief and the pressures of everyday life.

I’m committed to ethical practice, Safeguarding, GDPR compliance and ongoing professional development, including training with PAPYRUS, the Personalised Care Institute, SFU Solution‑Focused Universe, and courses in Grief, Loss and Mindfulness.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
