About me
Hello, and thank you for visiting my profile.
I am an integrative therapist, providing counselling for adults and young people aged 11 and up, both in-person and online.
Integrative counselling means drawing on more than one modality to create an approach that suits your individual needs. I work from a person-centred base to offer a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth and healing, and I am here to help you tap into that potential. An example of an approach that I might integrate is CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy). CBT can be particularly effective for both children and adults in helping to manage and reframe negative thought patterns, offering practical tools to overcome challenges and improve mental wellbeing.
I know that starting therapy is a big decision, and I offer a free introductory call to give you the opportunity to ask questions, get a sense of how I work, and decide whether you’d like to move forward together. The relationship between counsellor and client is key, and this will help you determine whether we could be a good fit.
If you are seeking counselling for your child, this might feel quite daunting. You may have already faced some challenges to get to this point. I want to reassure you that I am here to support both you and your young person. I include parents in the initial introductory call to discuss any concerns or questions you might have. For younger clients, regular reviews with parents may also be appropriate to ensure that everyone is feeling comfortable with the process and progress.
Whether you're looking for therapy for yourself or for your child, I am committed to providing a compassionate space where you can feel heard and understood. If this sounds like what you are looking for, I’d be happy to work with you on your journey.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
