About me
I am an Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor who combines an empathic approach with analytic theory. An Integrative Approach utilises theory and techniques from traditional and modern psychology and is tailored to suit each client's individual needs.
I believe that many of our problems and much of our psychological pain can be alleviated if we seek to understand ourselves and our experiences better. In doing so, we open ourselves to a broader self-acceptance and can gain a more authentic and stronger sense of self.
As an experienced psychotherapist, I offer the confidential space and necessary support for clients to embark on their journey towards greater understanding of themselves and their relationships.
I encourage clients to explore the ways in which significant events or relationships in their past may have had a lasting influence on how they engage with their present. I work with clients to help them explore their patterns of relating to others and to understand how these can affect their sense of self. I also support clients in exploring how early attachments with parents or caregivers may have influenced how they perceive their current situation in life and how they function in close relationships.
This process of therapy can lead to a broader self-acceptance and greater emotional resilience. It can ground us in a more authentic way of living, improve relationships and help clients recognise their full potential.
I see clients ranging in age from teenagers to the elderly, who present a wide span of issues including anxiety, depression, shame, anger, and family crises. I have experience in working with people who are recovering from addictions and from issues arising from past traumatic events including physical and sexual abuse, illness and bereavement.
I offer both short and long-term counselling and am flexible to meet either in person (Notting Hill Office), on Zoom or by telephone.
If you would like to schedule a free initial phone consultation (20 minutes), please feel free to email or call me.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
