About me

At the heart of my work is the belief that you are the expert on your own life. I won’t tell you what to do—instead, I offer a calm, supportive space where we can make sense of your experiences together and find a way forward that feels right for you.

You might be feeling stuck in patterns that are hard to break, struggling with anxiety or low mood, or carrying things from the past that you’ve never had the space to process. On the outside, you may seem like you’re coping—but inside, you feel tired, alone, or “not enough.”

You may be going through a time of change or loss, unsure of what you want or need. Therapy can offer you a non-judgemental space to understand yourself more deeply and begin to make gentle, lasting changes.

I work in an integrative way, adapting how I work to suit you as an individual. My aim is to build a genuine, trusting relationship where you feel heard, understood, and able to explore whatever is going on at your own pace.

Taking the first step can feel daunting—but it can also be the start of something meaningful: a space that’s just for you.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Further information

I have a special interest in working in grief. Grief can feel overwhelming and isolating, affecting every part of life. One of the reasons I decided to train as a counsellor was shaped by my own experience of traumatic loss at the age of 16, when my mum died suddenly. This event profoundly influenced my adult life, and through my own therapy, I was able to work with my grief and understand how it shaped me. This experience also sparked my deep interest in bereavement work.

As a bereavement counsellor, I offer gentle, professional support to help you make sense of loss, whether it’s the death of a loved one, miscarriage or pregnancy loss, or anticipatory grief related to illness or major life changes.

For the past two years, I’ve also volunteered at a local hospice, working with patients and families through end-of-life care and bereavement support. This experience has deepened my understanding of how people find courage and hope in times of profound vulnerability.

Every person’s grief journey is unique, and I provide a safe space where you can explore your emotions at your own pace and begin to rediscover balance and meaning.
