About me
Many of us can be our own harshest critics...never feeling good enough, never feeling as if we are "enough", not wanted or unlovable...these thoughts understandably have a big impact on our wellbeing and day-to-day functioning. It's not just you that feels this way - many of us struggle with these thoughts and feelings at times, but particularly if we've experienced adversity or trauma, this may have become the "norm" in the way we think about ourselves. But this can change. And when we start to think about ourselves and relate differently to ourselves, the world feels like a much better place!
I'm a clinical psychologist and I specialise in working with adults and my approach is multi-model, flexible and person led, often working on understanding and overcoming adversity and trauma from the past in order to develop a better relationship with ourselves. I offer face to face, online and also "walk and talk" sessions which is therapy on the move.
You are not alone in your struggles. Many people struggle with similar issues to those that have brought you to consider therapy, and those issues can get easier. I'd welcome you to get in touch and consider if you'd like to work together, and take a step towards a brighter future

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
