About me
Here at Lucy’s Therapy Space, I offer a calm, confidential setting where you can take time to talk openly, reflect and begin to make sense of whatever challenges you are facing. Whether you’re an adult navigating stress, anxiety, relationship difficulties, or change, a young person struggling at school, home or with friendships, or a parent or carer supporting a child with disabilities and/or additional needs, this is a space where I will listen to and respect all of your experiences.
Training, qualifications & experience
I offer counselling to adults, and children & young people aged 9 upwards. I can help with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, grief, stress, relationship challenges, domestic abuse, divorce and separation, and low self-esteem.
I have a particular passion for supporting parents who have a child with a disability, a journey that often brings a unique mix of love, pressure, grief, and resilience. I will create a space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered to find your own way forward as I have personal experience of parenting a child, who is now an adult, with severe physical and learning disabilities.
I am a fully qualified and accredited integrative counsellor with a strong person-centred foundation. I’ll be guided by you, because I believe you hold the keys to how change can happen in your life. I am registered with the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS). I believe that everyone has the potential for healing and growth when they are truly heard and accepted just as they are. As an integrative counsellor, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches tailored to your individual needs.
Sessions are available online or in person from my counselling room in Hucclecote, Gloucester or Cheltenham. Both are a quiet, comfortable space designed to help you feel safe and at ease.
