About me
Take the First Step Toward Change with Down-to-Earth Support
Hi, I’m Louise, and if you’ve found yourself here, it might mean life feels overwhelming right now. Maybe you’re battling with anxiety, trauma, ADHD, addiction, or low self-esteem. Perhaps your relationship is strained, full of tension, or stuck in unhealthy patterns. You might feel lost, exhausted, or wondering if anything will ever get better.
Here’s the truth: you don’t have to do this alone.
I’m not a suit-and-heels kind of therapist—I’m straight-talking, down-to-earth, and deeply compassionate. I show up as myself: Converse, messy bun, and all. Because I believe therapy works best when it's real, and you feel genuinely heard and supported by someone who gets it.
Counselling with me is a chance to press pause, take a breath, and start untangling the mess. We’ll explore what’s weighing you down, whether it’s painful past experiences, everyday overwhelm, or challenges in your relationships.
Here’s how I can help:
For individuals:
Break free from shame, self-doubt, and the feeling that you’re never enough.
Understand and manage overwhelm, ADHD symptoms, or patterns of self-sabotage.
Heal from trauma and process the pain that’s holding you back.
Feel more confident, connected, and capable in your life.
For couples:
Learn to communicate better, even when emotions are high.
Repair trust and build intimacy after struggles like infidelity or addiction.
Work through conflict and rediscover the love and connection that brought you together.
Navigate life’s challenges as a team, instead of feeling like you’re against each other.
I believe therapy should fit you—not the other way around. That’s why I offer a creative, flexible approach. Sometimes we’ll talk. Sometimes creative tools to help express the things that words can’t capture. Whatever we do, we’ll work at your pace and in a way that feels right for you.
Why counselling with me can change your life:
You’ll feel seen, heard, and understood—maybe for the first time in a long time.
You’ll gain tools to manage the tough stuff, instead of feeling controlled by it.
You’ll start to rebuild your self-worth, confidence, and sense of hope.
Your relationships can become stronger, healthier, and more fulfilling.
I know reaching out can feel like the hardest step, but it’s also the bravest. Together, we can create a space for healing, growth, and change. Whether you’re looking for individual therapy, couples counselling, or just someone to truly listen, I’m here to help. Let’s take this step together—you deserve it.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
