About me

Are You Tired of Holding Everything Together Alone?
Hi, I’m Louise.
If you’re here, something in you is hurting, you need help & feel exhausted.

Not just “tired.”

Exhausted from being the strong one.

Exhausted from masking.

Exhausted from being the one who sorts everything out while nobody notices you’re quietly falling apart.

You’ve spent years surviving chaos you never asked for, childhood wounds, trauma, ADHD overwhelm, addiction cycles, abusive relationships, abandonment fears, anxiety that won’t switch off.

Maybe your relationship feels more like a warzone than a home.

Maybe you shut down, lash out, freeze, overthink, apologise, numb, or detach…

And then judge yourself for it.

You’re not broken.

You’re overloaded.

And you’re doing your absolute best with what life handed you.

You don’t have to do it alone anymore.

Therapy With Me Is Not Clinical. It’s Human. It’s Real. It’s You and Me, Side by Side.

I’m not the therapist who stares blankly and nods.

I’m the therapist who shows up as  grounded, straight-talking, I swear, I use real talk, i'm compassionate, messy bun, Converse, and zero pretence.

I work with the parts of you other people misunderstood, minimised, or labelled as “too much.”

With me, you won’t be judged.

You won’t be analysed from a distance.

You won’t be told to “calm down” or “try harder.”

You’ll finally be understood.

You’re my client if you…

  • Feel ashamed for being you
replay every conversation wondering what you did wrong
  • apologise for existing
     shut down to stay safe
     panic when someone pulls away
  • chase love and then withdraw the moment you get it
  • carry guilt that was never yours
feel responsible for everyone else’s happiness
  • keep saying “I’m fine” when you’re drowning
  • help everyone else and have nothing left for yourself
  • feel ashamed for struggling when you “should be coping”
  • use drugs or alcohol to "cope" and you no longer control it.
  • Seem to have it all, yet feel you have nothing.
  • You deserve a therapist who knows what lies beneath all that:

Unmet needs.

surviving

Attachment wounds.

Nervous system trauma.

ADHD overwhelm.

Exhaustion from surviving instead of living.

And you deserve someone who knows how to help you untangle it all, safely, gently, powerfully.

Individual Therapy Can Give You:

  • space to finally drop the mask, be real, human you.

  • understanding of why your body reacts before your mind catches up

  • clarity instead of chaos

  • freedom from lifelong patterns

  • healthier boundaries

  • confidence that doesn’t crumble

  •  peace you didn’t think was possible
a version of you that feels lighter, grounded, and real

  • healthier coping strategies

  • Imagine waking up without the knot in your stomach.
  • Imagine not apologising every five minutes.
  • Imagine feeling safe inside your own body.
  • Imagine not having to drink, drug, shop to cope. To just be able to be comfortable in your own skin.

It’s possible. It’s real. And I help people get there every single day.

Couples Therapy That Stops the War and Rebuilds the Connection

You’re stuck in the same arguments.

You trigger each other without meaning to.

then

One or both of you shuts down.

One or both  explodes.

Both of you feel misunderstood.

Together, we rebuild communication, safety, trust, and intimacy.

Not the fake glossy Instagram version  the real, sustainable, grown-up kind. Do you even know what that is? Not many people do.

Single Session & Solution-Focused Therapy

Sometimes you don’t need 20 sessions.

You need:

• clarity

• a direction

• a plan

• a shift

• relief

• understanding

• a way forward

One powerful session can change how you see yourself, your choices, your relationship, or the story you’ve been stuck in.

Small doors open big futures.

Supervision (For Therapists & Trainees)

Supervision with me is not a performance review.

It’s a space to be human.

It’s a place where you bring your doubts, fears, blind spots, creativity, and courage  and we grow them.

I won’t shame you.

I won’t shrink you.

I won’t judge your humanity.

I’ll support you to become the therapist you’re meant to be. I want you to succeed and be the best you possibly can be. I want to support YOU in your work and goals.

Why People Work With Me

Because I get it.

Because I’m real.

Because they feel safe.

Because their story won’t shock me.

Because they dont need to pretend.

Because we make sense of things that have never made sense.

Because this is not clinical therapy, its as far away from that as humanly possible in the safest possible way.

this is life-changing support from someone who actually understands the messy, painful, beautiful truth of being human.

If you’re feeling the pull… trust it.

This is where things start to change.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
