About me
I offer a calm, practical approach to therapy, helping you understand why you think and feel the way you do through clear psychoeducation. I use the Rewind Technique where appropriate, which can be a stand-alone approach for phobias or part of a broader therapeutic process for trauma, alongside talking therapy to support change at your pace.
How I work - I’m a trauma informed person~centred therapist who puts you at the heart of the work. You choose what matters most to explore. Along the way, I’ll bring in tools from other approaches, offering a grounded, honest perspective - sometimes gently reflecting back or challenging when appropriate to help you find the clarity you need to move forward.
i am qualified in the Rewind Technique which can help you process trauma and phobias as a stand alone or as a tool in my counselling practice.
Where I work - I offer a warm, supportive space where you can feel safe to share whatever is on your mind. My style is grounded and practical, shaped by real-life experience, and focused on helping you challenge unhelpful patterns, discover new perspectives, and build confidence and resilience. I work from my cosy garden cabin in Rayleigh and also provide online sessions for those who prefer the flexibility and familiarity of therapy from home.
If you’re ready to take that first step, I’m here to support you, with compassion, honesty, and a focus on what truly helps.
I offer a free 15 minute video/phone call ahead of booking your first appointment.
