About me
By working in a gentle and action-oriented way, we will help you shift towards where you seek to be. During our counselling sessions I will listen and seek to understand and 'see' you. You will learn a number of techniques and positive problem-solving tools to take back control and improve your sense of wellbeing. You will also discover kinder coping skills and how to put effective boundaries in place, so you are able to overcome difficult situations.
Making sense of your thoughts:
I live within a family where neurodivergence is the norm. This enables me to relate to a wide spectrum of thoughts and behaviours. I can help you to make sense of the thoughts and/or actions that are holding you back and motivate you towards positive change.
Managing Trauma and Understanding Diagnoses:
I am an experienced practitioner and have helped people with various medical diagnoses and/or who have a history of trauma.
Taking a trauma-informed approach I help clients struggling with ACE’s, ASD, ADHD, PTSD, OCD, general anxiety disorder, depression, loss, low self-esteem and other challenges. I also help people who are trying to make sense of medical diagnoses such as BPD or EUPD.
I work part-time for a charity supporting parents who are suffering from child bereavement, assisting with managing loss and grief.
My clients all share one thing in common- they know they could feel happier in their lives and although they often feel nervous they now that change has to happen. I seek to offer the support you need.
