I am a qualified counsellor registered with the BACP- (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy)
I Practice Integrative counselling which combines cognitive, humanistic and psychodynamic methods of counselling as well as hypnotherapy. I offer an affordable service providing both long term and short term counselling to adults and on a one to one basis.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have a BTEC level 5 diploma in Integrative Therapeutic Counselling as well as a diploma in Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy and have worked in private practice for 8 years.
I have worked in various placements as a volunteer counsellor including the Place 2 Be counselling children, INS ( Integrated Neurological Services) counselling adults with neurological disorders such as Parkinson's disease,multiple sclerosis ect.. and Richmond Carers Centre, counselling adults caring for others.
I have experience working with disability and all types of diversity.
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

£20.00-£40.00 (sliding scale) per session
I work form home in a purpose built therapy room in my garden, offering a safe space to facilitate personal growth and provide opportunity for self development. I work according to the BACP ethical framework and hold public liability and private indemnity insurance.
