About me
I am a qualified and accredited counsellor and supervisor with 21 years' experience, offering psychodynamic counselling and supervision in Brighton & Hove in person and online.
Alongside my counselling practice, I provide supervision to trainee and qualified counsellors. My approach to supervision is supportive, thoughtful and reflective, while also offering appropriate challenge and space to explore clinical work in depth.
I particularly value creating a supervisory relationship in which supervisees feel able to bring uncertainty, difficult clinical material and questions about their practice openly. A psychodynamic perspective informs my work, including attention to the therapeutic relationship, unconscious processes and the dynamics that can emerge within clinical work.
I currently have a small number of spaces available for new supervisees, both online and in person in Brighton & Hove.
I also offer psychodynamic counselling to adults experiencing a range of difficulties, with the work tailored to the individual.
Please get in touch if you would like an initial conversation to see whether we might be a good fit.
Training, qualifications & experience

- MSc Organisational Psychology – 2017
- BACP Accredited Counsellor and Supervisor
I have 21 years' experience as a practising counsellor and have been providing clinical supervision since 2015. My therapeutic background is primarily psychodynamic, alongside extensive experience and knowledge of humanistic and integrative approaches.
As a supervisor, I work integratively, drawing on different therapeutic perspectives according to the needs of the supervisee, their clients and the work being undertaken. My particular area of strength and interest is psychodynamic thinking and its application to clinical practice.
My experience includes working with a wide range of presenting issues and supporting counsellors at different stages of their professional development, from trainees through to experienced practitioners.
I am committed to ongoing professional development and reflective practice, both as a counsellor and supervisor.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
