MNCS Accred - Adults and Couples Integrative Counsellor

About me

I am a fully qualified and experienced counsellor working with both individuals and couples who need some help to manage their feelings.  Life has been stressful for all of us over the last couple of years with the difficulties that Covid-19 has brought and for many of us that has been on top of other anxieties and stresses in our lives.

I can be here for you to listen and be alongside you in your difficulties.  I can also help you find better ways to manage the stresses in your life and become more resilient.

If you are in a partnership that is in difficulties,  I can help you find ways to understand each other better and deal with conflict in a more helpful and less painful way.

Call me on 073411 52739 for an initial chat and maybe I can help you start to turn life around.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have a Level 4 Diploma in Counselling and a certificate in couples counselling.

My counselling style in integrative, that means I have trained in several styles of counselling and use the one that seems most suited to your needs at the time.  I think this is so important as to me the client should be top priority in counselling, not the discipline in which you are trained.  The styles of counselling I can use will be humanistic (deep listening and empathy), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (how does your thinking affect your behaviour and life and how can you manage that), Gestalt ( what do actions in the current moment tell me) and Transactional Analysis ( how do we communicate with others and how can we do it better).

Using all these techniques I can help you examine and change patterns that may be creating unease in your life and holding you back from a more satisfying experience of life.
