About me
How my counselling practice can help you
I am an experienced integrative counsellor, a qualified psychologist.
I offer integrative talking therapy tailored to suit your individual needs.
I believe that each client I work with is unique and individual. My approach is therefore flexible and sensitive to the personal biography of each client.
I will adapt my therapy on your needs using my skills in flexible ways and support you in your personal journey.
I will provide you with support and a trusting open space where you will feel heard in a non-judgmental way and helped all the way through.
My counselling style is adapted to your needs
No single approach can treat every individual. My own approach to psychotherapy brings together and integrates elements of different schools.
There is no such thing as one-size-fits-all therapy: each patient is a different human being and needs to be considered as a whole. I will adjust my counselling technique to your individual needs and personal circumstances and to you as a whole.
My own version of integrative counselling promotes healing, facilitates wholeness and ensures that your mental, physical and emotional levels are brought to their full potential.
- I will start by setting goals with you;
- consequently, you will feel empowered to practice new behaviours and to move beyond your present limitations;
- you will very soon start to experience greater satisfaction in your life.
Integrative therapy method brings clarity and offers an opportunity to develop a deeper and authentic sense of self. My work as a humanistic counsellor is existential as well as theoretical. The warmth, knowledge and commitment I bring to my work is enriched by my experience as a mother, a musician and by my interest in Art, Poetry, Theatre and Cinema.
I offer long-term and short-term therapy according to the client’s needs.
Training, qualifications & experience
My qualifications
I am a fully qualified and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). This means that I adhere to the BACP's code of ethics ensuring a safe, confidential and professional practice. I hold an Advanced Diploma in Humanistic Integrative Counselling, a B.A. in Psychology, advanced professional training in other areas of therapy, as well as a B.Mus in Flute Performance and Composition.
I offer therapy in English, French and Italian.
My experience
I have extensive experience both as a counsellor and as a psychotherapist in a wide variety of settings, including my private practice, universities, charities and educational institutions. I work with clients with all sorts of needs such as depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, antenatal and postnatal depression, relationship difficulties, emotional disconnection, low self-esteem, chronic stress and fatigue, bereavement or just those looking for self-exploration.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
