About me

Hiya, I’m Lennie. I work with teenagers, young adults, and the grown-ups they’ve become. The ones who never quite fit the mould and are tired of pretending they do. I help teens carve out their identity in a world full of labels while supporting the parents and professionals navigating the chaos with them. Life with the people you care about should be something you enjoy, not just survive. Let’s face it, keeping your head down and pretending everything’s fine won’t get you anywhere. Together, we’ll tackle what you’ve been avoiding, rewrite the rules to suit you, rebuild your confidence, and create a life that finally fits.

Every day, I work with people tackling anxiety, anger, relationship chaos, and all those “for F$%& sake” moments. Let me say this loud and clear: you’re not broken! Therapy isn’t about fixing you, it’s about understanding yourself, finding clarity, and learning how to take on challenges in a way that feels right.

There’ll be setbacks, mistakes, and maybe some colourful language. But I’m here for all of it. Ready to listen and help you find your way. Life is unpredictable, but it doesn’t have to stay overwhelming.

For the past 10 years, I’ve helped people embrace their unruly selves, let go of bad feelings, and build lives that finally feel like theirs.

Training, qualifications & experience

I’ve spent years learning how to sit in chaos with the messy stuff. The rage, the burnout, the fear, the identity questions. I’m still learning every day. My training reflects that mix of head and heart, theory and real life.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Counselling and have specialist training in:

  • Psychodynamic Therapeutic Relationship Therapy
  • Certificate in Clinical Supervision (including online and telephone working)
  • Navigating CAMHS
  • Working with Gender, Sex and Relationship Diversity (GSRD) Clients (because everyone deserves to be seen and supported as they are)
  • Pre-Trial Therapy
  • DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy) Processing
  • Advanced Neurodivergent Therapeutic Working (specialising in working with teens and adults with ASD, ADHD, PDA, and the beautifully wired brains that don’t always follow the manual)
  • Certificate in Online and Telephone Counselling (qualified and comfy working remotely)
  • Supporting Victims of Domestic Violence
  • Supporting Young Carers
  • Prevent Training

I bring all of this into the room. More importantly, I bring humour, honesty and the belief that you don’t need to be fixed to feel better. Something amazing happens when we feel truly understood.

Therapy with me isn’t about fitting into the box your life has made for you. It’s about making space for the version of you that’s been quietly waiting for permission to exist.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
