About me
Hi, I'm Lauren and I'm a fully qualified and registered Gestalt / Integrative Therapist who works with Adults and Young People (12yrs+). I offer help with a range of issues, including anxiety, trauma/abuse, addiction, stress, depression, neurodiversity / ADHD, eating issues, low self-esteem and relationships, in a safe, friendly, comfortable environment. LGBTQ+ friendly. Feel free to contact me, and we can see if I can help.
I am based in Bishops Waltham, Southampton and offer online/virtual sessions if required. Alongside private practice, I work with Professional Athletes. This involves working with clients in organisations such as the FA (Football Association) and England Rugby and Cricket.
I believe in creating a strong, supportive and trusting therapeutic relationship with genuine care and consideration. Often our issues can seem out of our control or bigger than us. This is why I work in a way which enhances your self-awareness so that you can make informed choices and changes. I work in a way which looks at the root of the problem you're facing so that we can heal that original wound and help break any cycle you may feel 'stuck' in. I adapt sessions to you and your needs so that you're getting the support which is right for you, as each of us is different. This may include Creative approaches, Longer or short-term sessions, Talking therapies, Somatic (body), Inner child, Mindfulness and elements of Internal Family Systems.
If you have any questions, please do get in contact. If you send an email, please check for a reply in your junk mail, as sometimes the email gets sent there.
Hope to hear from you soon.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
